35th Anniversary Party

September 14 we hosted our 35th anniversary party. We heard from members who were there at the beginning and some who’ve only joined recently. We were thrilled to present our donations to representatives from the LOUD Foundation and Out in Schools. There was a silly amateur drag competition, cake, and most importantly, the chance to catch up with people we maybe hadn’t seen in a while. To get in on some of the nostalgia, check out our retrospective slideshow.

And MORE!

Before the year’s out, there’s one last Grouse Grind, games night, movie night, Whistler 50, our AGM & holiday party, and more.

If this sounds like the most fun you can have in a two or three hour period, you are absolutely right. Vancouver Frontrunners is friendship and family (and running and beer). We care for each other deeply. Whether you’re an existing member, potential member, or an alumnus, you can get your 2019 membership here now, effective from October 1 through the end of 2019, for the ridiculously low price of $15.

With a New Year comes a New Look

by admin

For some time now, Vancouver Frontrunners have pondered the idea of updating the clubs logo and after years of chatter, we’ve finally done it!

Our members were provided with 3 options that the board had shortlisted from 7 and we let the members vote. We feel that the new logo better represents the club and we hope you like it as much as we do.

No Official Run This Wednesday

by admin

Wed like to remind everyone that there’s no official run/walk meetup this Wednesday, December 28th as the Roundhouse is closed.

That doesn’t stop a small group from still showing up, and if you fancy a run, by all means please be our guest. Just remember that there won’t be anywhere to leave your belongings or to get changed.

Website Update

by admin

Our website should now be fully functional, albeit a few cosmetic mishaps.
We’re in the process of designing a new site in a development environment and can’t wait to show it off to you soon.
In the meantime, should you not be able to find anything on this site, please feel free to use the contact us form and we’ll try to answer any questions you might have.

We’re Updating Our Website

by admin

We’ve decided it’s time for a new look and feel to our website, and with that we also decided to move hosting providers.

While we’re trying to make the transition as smooth as possible, it doesn’t always work out that way. As such, you may notice that some of our webpages are displaying oddly, or if you’re not a techy, then it might also look like jibberish.

We are working on this and hope to have everything appearing nicely and with a fresh new look.

Should you have any questions or comments, please contact us either on Facebook, or using the email address contact-us /@/ vancouverfrontrunners.org
