Pride Run & Walk

1000 people registered for the 2025 race, our biggest event ever! Participants and their supporters generously donated more than $20,000 to 2SLGBTQIA+ charitable organizations: ARC FoundationOut in Schools, and Rainbow Refugee. Thank you!

The Annual Vancouver Pride Run & Walk (VPRW) is hosted by the Vancouver Frontrunners, one of Canada's largest and longest-running 2SLGBTQIA+ sports organizations, VPRW is held in the days leading up to the city's annual Pride celebrations. Starting and finishing near Second beach in Stanley Park, this year's event is scheduled for Sunday, July 26th, 2026, and promises a fantastic celebration of diversity, inclusion, and healthy living.

The family-friendly VPRW event offers participants the opportunity to run, walk, or show support for athletes along either the 5km or 10km routes. The 10-kilometer race is open to runners at any level; additionally, as the course is a certified distance and sanctioned by BC Athletics, the 10K course is a qualifying race for competitive athletes on the Canadian athletics calendar.

Also open to all ages and fitness levels is the 5-kilometre run or walk race course that stretches toward Burrard Bridge and back along the highly visible English Bay seawall.

VPRW is known for its lively atmosphere, with participants often dressing up in colourful and festive outfits to show their support for the 2SLGBTQIA+ community.
